CHAPTER 414.


AN ACT to authorize the clerk of the circuit court for Baltimore


county to destroy certain poll-books and certain orders for the


summoning of witnesses, and the sheriff's return of the sum-


moning of witnesses in civil and criminal cases.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted ty the General Assembly of Maryland,

of Maryland.


WHEREAS, the Maryland historical society has complied with


all the provisions of the acts of assembly heretofore passed at the
session of eighteen hundred and eighty-two and previous sessions,


relating to the preservation, arrangement and publication of the

State of Maryland, and has under said acts published seven volumes


of the same, and made considerable progress in the preparation


for publication of the eighth volume; and,
