CHAPTER 404.


AN ACT to repeal section one hundred and fifty-two, of article


ninety-three, of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland,


title "Testamentary Law," sub-title "Guardian and Ward," and


to re-enact the same with amendments.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Testamentary Law,"


sub-title "Guardian and Ward," be and the same is hereby re-


pealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows :


No administrator shall be bound in any manner to discharge


and fulfill the duties of guardian after the close of his adminis-


tration, or after the end of three years from the granting such


administration, nor after a guardian shall be appointed by the


orphans' court; and whenever an administrator is ready to pay


over any money and there is no guardian of the person entitled.

bank, safe deposit company, or other corporate body to be named


in the order, in which it may draw interest in the name of the


person entitled; subject, however, to the order of such court

of age to receive it, or a guardian be appointed, and such order


and the deposit made in pursuance thereof shall be a release to

AN ACT authorizing William H. Gale, guardian of Harriet H.


Tull, minor, to pass his final account in the orphans' court of


Somerset county.


WHEREAS, Harriet H. Tull, a minor, of the age of sixteen years,

Gale, her guardian, who holds the same according to law as such


guardian.
