the land records of Baltimore city in liber J. B., number twelve


hundred and thirty-five, folio five hundred and forty-one, &c., in

Preamble

consideration of the sum of six .thousand four hundred and


twenty-eight dollars and seventy-six cents, granted and conveyed


to the said Central presbyterian church of the city of Baltimore,


the nine lots of ground on the north side of Fort avenue in said


city and between Johnson street and Covington street in said deed


particularly described; therefore,


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

tion.

That its sanction is hereby given and declared to the two above


mentioned grants to the Central presbyterian church of the city


of Baltimore.

CHAPTER 401.


AN ACT to refund to T. B. Green, of Somerset county, late col-


lector of taxes for Somerset county, the sum of seventy-two


dollars and seventy cents for money paid into the treasury of


the State in excess of the amount due by him to the State for


State taxes for the years eighteen hundred and eighty-four and


eighteen hundred and eighty-five.


WHEREAS, it appears by the books of the treasury department


of the State of Mary land, that T. B. Green has paid into the

treasury of this State the sum of seventy-two dollars and seventy
cents in excess of the amount due by him for State taxes for eigh-


teen hundred and eighty-four and eighteen hundred and eighty-


five for Somerset county; and


WHEREAS, the treasurer and comptroller of the treasury of the

State has recommended the passage of a law refunding the said


sum of money to said collectors; therefore


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,


That the treasurer of the State be and he is hereby directed and
