CHAPTER 52.


AN ACT to give the sanction of the General Assembly of Mary-


land to deeds of John A. W. Powell and Susan G. Powell, his


wife, to Trinity cathedral, Easton, of Talbot county, a body


corporate, duly incorporated under the laws of the State of


Maryland, and of John L. Caldwell and Emma B. Caldwell,


his wife, to the same corporation.


WHEREAS, John A. W. Powell and Susan G. Powell, his wife,


by deed, dated the twenty-fourth day of June, in the year eighteen


hundred and seventy-six, and John L. Caldwell and Emma B

Preamble.

Caldwell, his wife, by deed, dated the nineteenth day of August,


in the year eighteen hundred seventy-eight, granted and conveyed


to Trinity cathedral, Easton, a body corporate, duly incorporated


under the laws of Maryland, the several parcels of land situate,


lying and being in Talbot county, in the State of Maryland, and


in said deeds particularly mentioned and described; therefore


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,


That the sanction of the General Assembly of Maryland is hereby


given to the deeds of conveyance of John A. W. Powell and Susan


G. Powell, his wife, and John L. Caldwell and Emma B. Cald-

and its assigns forever.


SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take effect

CHAPTER 53.


AN ACT to amend and extend the charter of the Farmers' Mutual


fire insurance company of Dng Hill, in Carroll county.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,


That the charter of the Farmers' Mutual fire insurance company


of Dug Hill, in Carroll county, a corporation created under the

tions, be and it is so amended that the duration of said corpora-


tion shall be unlimited.


SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from
