both, and with any unemployed funds or moneys to purchase
bonds, notes, accounts, orders and other evidences of debt; pro-


vided, that said corporate body before it shall exercise any of the


powers and franchises herein enumerated, in addition to the other


taxes to which it is now or shall be hereafter liable, shall obtain


from the clerk of the circuit court for Queen Anne's county, who


is hereby authorized to issue the same as in individual oases, a


bill brokers license as is now or shall hereafter be provided by


law.


SEC. 2. And 6e it enacted, That this act shall take effect from

CHAPTER 46.




AN ACT to amend the charter of the Baltimore and Drum Point


railroad company, by further extending the time for the com-


pletion of its road.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,


That the charter heretofore granted to the Baltimore and Drum


Point railroad company, be and the same is hereby amended in


manner following, to wit : That the time for the completion of


the main line of the road of said Baltimore and Drum Point


railroad company, be and the same is hereby extended until the

first day of May, eighteen hundred and ninety-two, and that none

extended.

nal charter, or any supplements thereto or secured thereunder,


shall be in anywise avoided by reason of the failure of said com-
