CHAPTER 295.


AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments section four,


of chapter four hundred and two, of the acts of the General


Assemblly of Maryland, passed at the January session, eighteen


hundred and eighty-two, entitled an act to revive the act in-


corporating certain trustees to build an academy or school


house in or near the town of Manchester, in Baltimore county,


to be known by the name of the " Manchester united academy


or school," passed at the session of the General Assembly of


Maryland, in the year eighteen hundred and twenty-eight,


chapter one hundred, and re-enact the same with amendments.


SECTION 4. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,


That section two, of the aforesaid act and chapter, be and the same
is hereby repealed and re-enacted, so as to read as follows : that the
aforesaid trustees shall consist of the councilmen, together with
