That a new precinct be and is hereby created, in Cambridge, or


seventh election district of Dorchester county, to be known as the


" Third, or Dailsville Precinct," and that it shall consists of all


that part of said seventh election district lying west of a line


commencing at the mouth of Jenkins' creek; thence running


with the centre of said creek and the branch that divides the

cinct.

Chamberlaine farm to the county road; thence in about a south-


ern direction to a point in the centre of the Bayly road, opposite


the residence of Thos. Woolford, colored; thence with the Bayly


road and Church creek road, to limit of Church creek, or num-


ber nine election district of said county, the precinct hereby cre-


ated being a part of the present western precinct, and the voting


place for said third, or Dailsville precinct, shall be at Dailsville ;


the county commissioners of Dorchester county are hereby directed


to make all necessary provisions for voting in said precinct as they


are now required by law for other polling places in said county.


SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from

CHAPTER 277.


AN ACT to repeal section one hundred and seventy-eight, article


twelve, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title


"Garrett county," sub-title "Oakland," and to re-enact the same


with amendments, authorizing the mayor and council of


Oakland to levy needful taxes on the assessable property within


the town liable to taxation, and to provide for collecting the


same.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
