CHAPTER 260.


AN ACT to repeal sections one hundred and eighty-four, one


hundred and eighty-five, one hundred and eighty-six, one hun-


dred and eighty-seven, one hundred and eighty-eight and one


hundred and ninety-five, of article four, Code of Public Local


Laws, title "City of Baltimore," sub-title "Courts," which re-


late to the holding of Saturday sessions of the criminal court


of Baltimore.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,


That sections one hundred and eighty-four, one hundred and

eighty-five, one hundred and eighty-six, one hundred and eighty-
seven, one hundred and eighty-eight and one hundred and ninety-


five, of article four, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "City


of Baltimore," sub-title "Courts," be and the same are hereby


repealed.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from


the date of its passage.


Approved April 3, 1890.


CHAPTER 262.


AN ACT to repeal sections nine to thirteen, both inclusive, of


article forty- eight, of the Code of Public General Laws of


Maryland, title "Inspections," sub-title "Tobacco," and to


enact other sections in lieu thereof.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,


That sections nine to thirteen, of article forty-eight, of the Code


of Public General Laws of Maryland, title "Inspections," sub-title


"Tobacco," be and the same are hereby repealed and the follow-


ing enacted in lieu thereof.


9. The governor shall nominate, and by and with the consent

Inspectors

of the senate, biennially appoint three inspectors of tobacco at
a salary of eighteen hundred dollars a year each.


10. The inspectors so appointed shall before entering upon the


discharge of the duties of their office give bond in the sum of


twenty thousand dollars, to be approved by the treasurer of the

Bond.

State, conditioned for the faithful performance of the duties im-


posed upon them by law, and for full and punctual returns at


the end of each quarter of the receipts and disbursements of the


State tobacco warehouses in the city of Baltimore under their


respective charge, and said bond shall be recorded in the office of
