CHAPTER 30.
|
|
|
|
AN ACT to authorize and direct the county commissioners of
|
|
|
|
Montgomery county, to refund to William Veirs Bonic of said
|
|
|
|
county, certain sums of money for taxes erroneously paid to
|
|
|
|
said county commissioners by him.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assembly of Maryland,
|
|
|
|
That the county commissioners of Montgomery county, be and
|
|
|
|
they are hereby authorized, empowered and directed to refund
|
|
|

and pay over to William Veirs Bouic of said county, the sum of
|
|

|
two hundred and seventy-eight dollars and ninety cents, being
money which the said William Veirs Bouic paid to the said county
|
|

commissioners of Montgomery county, for county taxes on prop-

erty erroneously assessed to him by said commissioners from the
|
|
|
|
year eighteen hundred and fifty-three to the year eighteen hun-
|
|
|
|
dred and eighty-eight, both inclusive.

|
|

AN ACT to authorize the county commissioners of Queen Anne's

county to grant a pension to Edward H. Cray, of said county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
|
|
|
|
That the county commissioners of Queen Anne's county are
|
|
|
|
hereby authorized and empowered to grant an annual pension,
|
|
|

not exceeding fifty dollars, to Edward H. Cray of said county,
|
|
|
|
during the natural life of said Cray, and to levy said amount on
|
|
|
|
the assessable property of said county.
