CHAPTER 19


AN ACT to amend section six of the charter of the Washington


Grove Camp Meeting Association of the District of Columbia


and Maryland, as enacted by the act of eighteen hundred and


seventy-four, chapter one hundred and thirty-five, and amended


ty the Act of eighteen hundred and eighty-six, chapter ninety,


by repealing said section six, and re-enacting the same with


amendments.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assembly of Maryland,


That section six, of chapter one hundred and thirty-five, of the


acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the Janu-


ary Session, eighteen hundred and seventy-four, entitled "An Act

Rppeal

to incorporate Washington Grove Camp Meeting Association
of the District of Columbia and Maryland," as amended by the


Act of eighteen hundred and eighty-six, chapter ninety, be and


the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, so as to read as follows :


SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That the stockholders of the said


corporation at the annual meeting, which shall be held on the


grounds of the association on the thirtieth day of May of each


year; provided, that whenever the day of the month fixed for the


annual meeting shall fall on Sunday, then the annual meeting

shall be held on the following Monday, or at such other time as


may be designated by the association, shall elect a board of - nine


trustees, who shall be stockholders in said association, to manage


the affairs of said association according to the rules and by-laws


of the association, and any adjourned or called meeting of said


association may be held in the District of Columbia; provided,


that at least five days' notice of any called meeting shall be pre-


viously given or mailed to the stockholders of the association.


SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from
