all vacancies that may occur by death, resignation, or otherwise,


as may be provided by the, by-laws of said corporation, shall be


filled by the board of directors by ballot at their next meeting,


after ten days' notice in writing to each director; and it shall be

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

57. When the real estate or leasehold property of an infant or

infant is a party, or by virtue of a power contained in a mortgage


upon such real estate or leasehold property, the court decreeing


or ratifying such sale may, upon the application of the person


making such sale, or upon the petition of the guardian of such

register of wills of the county or city in which letters of guar-


dianship have been granted, that the guardian of such infant

ment of the court making such decree, order, or direction, in an


amount and with security sufficient to protect such infant in the
