handbill, and sold to the highest bidder for cash in ten days.

the boat, .guns and other fixtures used in such violation, and


carry such offender or offenders with the boat, guns and other


fixtures being used, before some justice of the peace of the


county wherein such offense was committed to be dealt with as


provided in this act.


SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from

CHAPTER 141.


AN ACT to change the name of Turner's creek, in Kent county,


to Turner's river.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assembly of Maryland
That the branch of Sassafras river now known as "Turner's creek,'


extending from said river to the steamboart landing at the head

of said creek, and upon which a public landing and Janvier's


wharf are located, shall hereafter be called and known as "Tur-


rer's river."
