Central railway company lying west of Charles street and south

of Lanvale street until it intersects Lanvale street, and no part of
|
|
|
|
the property of the Northern Central railway company lying in
|
|
|
|
the angle made by the west side of Charles street and south side
|
|
|
|
of Lanvale street shall he taken or used by said Western Mary-
|
|
|
|
land tidewater railroad company south of a line drawn parallel
|
|
|
|
to the said centre line and thirteen feet south therefrom, and the
|
|
|
|
north line of said right-of-way shall be thirteen feet distant from
|
|
|
|
the said centre line at the west side of Charles street, and not
|
|
|
|
more than seventeen feet north of said centre line at the point
|
|
|
|
where the said north side of said right-of-way shall intersect
|
|
|
|
Lanvale street; provided, that said Western Maryland tidewater
|
|
|
|
railroad company shall so locate its line north and west of the
|

|
south line of Lanvale street as not to interfere with the setting
|
|
|
|
back to the northward a distance of twelve feet at the face the
|
|
|
|
north abutment of Maryland avenue bridge, and the acquisition
|
|
|
|
and use by the Northern Central railway company of the addi-
|
|
|
|
tional space made accessible thereby; fourth, said Western Mary-
|
|
|
|
land tidewater railroad company shall construct its road east-
|
|
|
|
wardly from Guilford avenue until it enters Barclay stseet as
|
|
|
|
laid down on the map of the city of Baltimore, north of the
|
|
|
|
tracks of the Union railroad company with the right to pass
|
|
|
|
through the property of the Union railroad company by a right-
|
|
|
|
of-way as wide only as is necessary for a double track railroad,
|
|
|
|
and shall cross above grade the tracks of said Union railroad, not
|
|
|
|
less than four in number, and the tracks now being constructed
|
|
|
|
to connect with the Northern Central railway tracks near Pres-
|
|
|
|
ton street with the tracks of the Union railroad company east of
|

|
Barclay street, as laid down on the map of the city of Baltimore,
|
|
|
|
at an elevation above the present grade of said tracks of the
|
|
|
|
Union railroad company and of the Northern Central railway
|
|
|
|
company of not less than seventeen and a-half feet above top of
|
|
|
|
rail, so as to afford free passage for trains and engines on both
|
|
|
|
said roads under the road of the Western Maryland tidewater
|
|
|
|
railroad company; fifth, the said Western Maryland tidewater
|
|
|
|
railroad company may acquire as aforesaid for its use any prop-
|
|
|
|
erty of the Northern Central railway company lying in Barclay
street south of the Union railroad of sufficient width for a double
|
|
|
|
track, and in or near Beuren street to the point where the tracks
|

of the Western Maryland railroad company connect with the

tracks of the Northern Central railway company at or near East
|
|
|
|
Madison street; provided, that between Chase and Eager streets
|
|
|
|
the westernmost track of said company's road shall always be
|
|
|
|
east of the west line of Barclay street extended southward, and
|
|
|
|
that between Eager and Madison streets said Western Maryland
|
|
|
|
tidewater railroad company may acquire and use for a right-of-
|
|
|
|
way any property of the Northern Central railway company in-
|
|
|
|
cluded within the following limits, viz : beginning on the line of
|
