	CHAPTER 56.
	AN ACT to repeal section, one of chapter one hun-
	dred and twenty of the acts of eighteen hundred
	and seventy-eight, entitled "An act to authorize the
	Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to provide
	for the Inspection of Oil or Fluids made from
	Petroleum or its products, used for illuminating
	purposes, offered for sale in the city of Baltimore,
	and for the appointment of inspectors for that
	purpose," and to re-enact the said section with
	amendments.
	SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
	bly of Maryland, That section one of chapter one
	hundred and twenty of the Acts of the General As-	Repealed and
	sembly, passed at the January session, eighteen hun-	re-enacted.

	repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows :
	SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
	bly of Maryland, That the Mayor and City Council
