CHAPTER 54.

AN ACT to repeal chapter four hundred and fifty-

seven of the acts of eighteen hundred and seven-

ty, entitled "An act to prohibit the issuing of any

license for the sale of spirituous or fermented li-

quors at or within one mile of Holly Grove, in

the county of Baltimore, State of Maryland, and

to prevent the sale of all kinds of intoxicating

drinks within the above described limits."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

bly of Maryland, That chapter four hundred and

hundred and seventy, be and the same is hereby re-

pealed.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the County

Commissioners of Garrett county to refund to

Emil F. Droege ninety-two dollars and sixteen

cents, county taxes paid in error by him in the

years eighteen hundred and seventy-six, eighteen

hundred and seventy-seven and eighteen hundred

and seventy-eight.
