CHAPTER 480.

AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money as addi-

tional compensation to Samuel H. Townsend, for

services in the case of the State of Maryland vs.

Lilian Duer.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

bly of Maryland, That the Treasurer, upon the war-

SEC 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 481.

AN ACT to declare the sanction of the General

Assembly of Maryland to the bequest of Henri-

etta Anderson, late of Worcester county, deceased,

to the Methodist Prostestant Church of Poco-

moke city.

WHEEEAS Henrietta Anderson, late of Worcester

county, deceased, by her last will and testament,

duly admitted to probate in the Orphans' Court for

Preamble.

Worcester county, bequeathed to the Trustees of the
Methodist Protestant Church of Pocomoke city,

State of Maryland, one house and lot, situate on

Market street, adjoining the Baptist Church, in said

Pocomoke city.
