	CHAPTER 482.
	AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments
	section one of article seventy-two of the Code of
	Public General Laws, title "Limited Partner-
	ships."
	SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
	bly of Maryland; That section one of article seven-	Repealed and
	ty-two of the Code of Public General Laws, title	enacted in
	" Limited Partnerships," be and the same is hereby	lieu.
	repealed, and the following be enacted in lieu thereof:
	Limited partnerships, for the transaction of any
	mercantile, mechanical, manufacturing or banking
	business within this State, may be formed by two or more persons, upon the terms, with the rights and	Limited part- nership.

	herein prescribed ; but the provisions of this article
	shall not be construed to authorize any such partner-
	ship for the purpose of making insurance.
	SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take	Effective.
