CHAPTER 434.


AN ACT to repeal an act passed at January ses-


sion, eighteen hundred and seventy-two, chapter


one hundred and seventy-four, entitled " An act


to incorporate the town of Union Bridge,


in Carroll county," and to re-enact the same with


amendments and additional sections.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted ty the General Assem-


bly of Maryland, That the act passed at January

the following sections enacted in lieu thereof:


SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the inhabitants


of the town of Union Bridge, in Carroll county,


are a body corporate by the name of " the Mayor


and Common Council of the town of Union Bridge,"


and by that name shall be able in law to sue and be

in equity, and shall have perpetual succession, and


may piirchase and hold real and personal and mixed


property, or dispose of the same for the use and


benefit of the said town, and may have and use a


common seal, which may be altered at pleasure.


SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the corporate


bounds of said town shall be as laid down and de-


scribed on the plot of said town of Union Bridge,


recorded in office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court


for Carroll county; provided, however, that for all
