CHAPTER 428.

AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of

Wicomico county to appoint an additional con-

stable for the third election district of said county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the County Commissioners

of Wicomico county are hereby directed and empow-
ered to appoint an additional constable in Tyaskin
district number three, of said county, to have and

exercise all the powers belonging to other constables

of said county.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall

CHAPTER 429.

A supplement to chapter two hundred, passed at

the January session of eighteen hundred and sixty-

five, entitled "A supplement to an act entitled an

act to incorporate a company to make a turnpike

road from Hagerstown, in Washington county, to

the Pennsylvania line," passed at the December

session, eighteen hundred and forty-six, chapter

three hundred and thirty-three.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That from and after the passage of

this act it shall not be lawful for said company to
