CHAPTER 384.

AN ACT to empower the Annapolis and Baltimore

Short-line Railroad Company to accept subscrip-

tions to its capital stock in property, real, personal

or mixed, or in labor or services.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That the Annapolis and Baltimore
Short-line Railroad Company, incorporated under
the general provisions of the act of eighteen hun-
dred and seventy-six of the General Assembly of

Maryland, chapter two hundred and forty-two, be
empowered to accept subscriptions to its capital
stock in property, real, personal or mixed, or in

labor or services, at such valuation as may be agreed

upon between said company and those subscribing
at the time of said subscription, instead of pursuing
the provisions of the seventh section of said act.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

effect from the date of its passage.
