Authorized

hereby authorized, empowered and directed, at once,

to cede.

to cede to the County Commissioners of Baltimore


county their turnpike road, by deed, to be executed,


acknowledged and recorded in the same manner as


deeds are required to be executed, acknowledged and


recorded to pass real estate.


SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That when such ces-


sion shall be made, the said Calverton Turnpike road

county, and shall be kept in repair, used and treated


in all respects as other public roads .of Baltimore


county.


SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That as soon as such


cession shall be made, the president and managers of

have surrendered its corporate rights, privileges and
franchises, and shall be dissolved.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this act shall take


effect from and after the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 347.




AN ACT to fix the compensation of the Crier of


the Circuit Court for Montgomery county.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-


bly of Maryland, That the Crier of the Circuit

Per diem.

Court for Montgomery county be and he is hereby
allowed a per diem of two dollars and a half for


each and every day he may attend, as such, the sit-


ting of said court, in lieu of all other compensation


whatsoever.
