CHAPTER 344.

|
AN ACT relating to the road running through the
|
|
|
|
|
lands of John L. Eudd to the Wicomico River,
|
|
|
|
|
in Charles county.
|
|
|
|
|
WHEREAS it has been represented to this General
|
|
|
|
|
Assembly that the road leading from the public road
|
|
|
|
|
from New Port to Budd's Creek, in Charles county,
|
|
|
|
|
to the Wicomico River, is but little used, save and
|
|
|
|
|
except by carts and wagons shipping produce to
Budd's Landing, on said river, and is not a thorough-
|
Preamble.

|
|
|
fare between any two points, but is of great conve-
|
|
|
|
|
nience to citizens living in the neighborhood thereof,
|
|
|
|
|
for the purpose of shipping, who do not wish to be
|
|
|
|
|
deprived of the use of said road for said purposes,
|
|
|
|
|
but are willing that gates should remain on said
|
|
|
|
|
road; therefore —
|
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
|
|
|
|
of Maryland, That the road leading from the public
|
|
|
|
|
road from New Port to Budd's Creek, in Charles
|
|
|
|
|
county, through the lands of John L. Budd to the
Wicomico River, be and the same is hereby ex-
|

empted from the provisions of the act of eighteen

|
|
|
|
hundred and seventy six, chapter two hundred and
|
|
|
|
|
ninety-one, entitled "An act to remove all gates from
|
|
|
|
|
the public roads of Charles county."
