CHAPTER 318.

AN ACT to fix the compensation of the sheriff of
|
|
|
|
Montgomery county for keeping and boarding
|
|
|
|
prisoners committed to the jail of said county.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted ty the General Assem-
|
|
|
|
bly of Maryland, That the sheriff of Montgomery
|
|
|

lowed.

county be and is hereby allowed thirty cents a day,
and no more, for keeping and boarding each pris-
|
|
|
|
oner committed to the jail of said county.
|
|
|
Effective.
|
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act
shall take effect from the date of its passage.
|
|
|
|

CHAPTER 319.
|
|
|
|
AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of
|
|
|
|
Charles county to levy a sum of money to provide
|
|
|
|
payment for indexing certain records in the office
|
|
|
|
of the Register of Wills of said county.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assembly
|
|
|
|
of Maryland, That the County Commissioners of
|
|
|
|
Charles county be and they are hereby authorized
|
|
|
|
to levy a sum of money, not exceeding two hundred
|
|
|
Pay for in-
dexing.
|
dollars, to make payment in full to Marcellus Thomp-
son, late Register of Wills of said county, for index-
|
|
|
|
ing certain records in office of Register of Wills of
|
|
|
|
said county, if in the discretion of said county com-
|
|
|
|
missioners such payment is just and proper.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
|
|
|
