CHAPTER 298.


AN ACT to amend and enlarge the powers con-


ferred by the act entitled " An act to incorporate


the Associated Professors of Loyola College in the


city of Baltimore," passed at January session,


eighteen hundred and fifty-three, chapter one


hundred and forty-one.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-


bly of Maryland, That the Associated Professors of


Loyola College in the city of Baltimore shall, in


addition to the powers granted and conferred upon


said body corporate by the act to which this is a

supplement, be capable in law to take, receive and
hold by purchase, sale, gift, lease, devise, bequest or
