159. He shall be entitled to thirty-five cents a day

taken, thirty-five dollars; when two together, twenty-

lars each ; to be levied as other county charges.

AN ACT to add new sections to the Code of Public

Local Laws, artitle one, entitled " Allegany

county," sub-title " Roads."
|
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assem-
|
|
|
|
|
bly of Maryland, That the following sections are
|
|
|
|

" Roads."

|
|
|
|
SEC. — . The county commissioners of said county
|
|
|
|
|
are hereby authorized and empowered, in the month
|
|
|
|
|
of April, eighteen hundred and eighty, and in each
|
|
|
|
|
second year thereafter, to appoint one person, a res-
|
|
|
|
|
ident of said county and qualified voter therein, to
|
|
|
|
|
be known as General Supervisor of Roads, whose
|
|
|
|

and bridges of said county, and superintend the

|
pervisor.

building and repairs of all such public roads and

bridges, subject to the control and supervision of

sioners shall have full power to make rules and reg-

ulations fixing and determining the duties of said

supervisor and the manner of performing the same ;
