section

eight of the Acts of Assembly passed at the January
session of eighteen hundred and seventy-eight, en-
|

titled an act to add an additional article to the Code
|
|
|
|
|
of " Public Local Laws," to be entitled " Garrett
|
|
|
|
|
county," be and the same is hereby amended by ad-
|
|
|
|
|
ding thereto the following additional section, to be
|
|
|
|
|
known as section twenty A.
|
|
|
|
|
SEC. 20. A. The county commissioners shall not
|
|
|
|
|
expend in any one year more than the sum of eight
|
|
|
|
|
hundred dollars for all printing and publishing for
|
|
|
|
|
Garrett county, and in case they cannot obtain the
|
|
|
|

of said county for said sum of eight hundred dollars

and advertis-

or less, then in that event they are authorized to

county, by handbills or otherwise, as in their judg-

|
|
ment may seem best for the good of the county;
|
|
|
|
|
provided the entire cost of the same shall not exceed
|
|
|
|
|
the sum of eight hundred dollars.
