SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-


bly of Maryland, That the Comptroller of the


Treasury be and he is hereby authorized and di-


rected to issue his warrant on the Treasurer of this


State, to pay to Samuel Swope, administrator cum


testamento annexo of Edward Spaulding, late of

said county, deceased, the sum of one hundred and


sixty-three dollars and fifty-six cents, being the


amount overpaid into the treasury by said Edward


Spaulding as collector of State taxes for election


district number one of said county, as certified to


by the Comptroller of the Treasury.
