	CHAPTER 251.
	AN ACT for the relief of William H. Travers of
	Dorchester county.
	SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
	bly of Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Treas-
	ury be and he is hereby authorized and directed to
	issue his warrant on the State Treasurer to pay and
	refund to William H. Travers, of Dorchester county,	Issue warrant
	the sum of fifty dollars, paid by him into the treas-
	ury as bondsman of Robert Collins, upon the forfeited
	recognizance of the latter, who was subsequently
	apprehended and is now a convict in the State Pen-
	itentiary, the same having been recommended by
	the officers of the Treasury department.
	SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall	Effective.

	CHAPTER 252.
	AN ACT to repeal section ninety-four of article one
	of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Alle
	gany County," sub-title " Justices of the Peace
	and Constables," and to re-enact the same with
	amendments.
	SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
	bly of Maryland, That section ninety-four of article one of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled	Repealed find re-enacted.
	"Allegany county," sub-title " Justices of the Peace
	and Constables," be and is hereby repealed and re-
	enacted to read as follows :
	94. There shall be two justices of the peace for	Number of
