CHAPTER 251.

AN ACT for the relief of William H. Travers of
|
|
|
|
Dorchester county.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
|
|
|
bly of Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Treas-
|
|
|
|
ury be and he is hereby authorized and directed to
|
|
|
|
issue his warrant on the State Treasurer to pay and
|
|
|
|
refund to William H. Travers, of Dorchester county,
|

|
|
the sum of fifty dollars, paid by him into the treas-
|
|
|
|
ury as bondsman of Robert Collins, upon the forfeited
|
|
|
|
recognizance of the latter, who was subsequently
|
|
|
|
apprehended and is now a convict in the State Pen-
|
|
|
|
itentiary, the same having been recommended by
|
|
|
|
the officers of the Treasury department.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall

AN ACT to repeal section ninety-four of article one

of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Alle

gany County," sub-title " Justices of the Peace
|
|
|
|
and Constables," and to re-enact the same with
|
|
|
|
amendments.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
|
|
|
bly of Maryland, That section ninety-four of article
one of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled
|

"Allegany county," sub-title " Justices of the Peace
|
|
|
|
and Constables," be and is hereby repealed and re-
|
|
|
|
enacted to read as follows :
|
|
|
|
94. There shall be two justices of the peace for
