CHAPTER 22.

AN ACT to amend article thirty of the Code of
|
|
|
|
Public General Laws of this State, title " Crimes
|
|
|
|
and Punishments," by adding thereto certain ad-
|
|
|
|
ditional sections under the sub-title of " Disturb-
|
|
|
|
ance of the Public Peace."
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
|
|
|
bly of Maryland That article thirty of the Code of
|
Amended
|
|
|
Public General Laws of this State, title " Crimes
|
and addition-
|
|
|
and Punishments," be amended by adding thereto
|
al sections ad-
|
|
|
the following additional sections, under the sub-title
|
ded.
|
|
|
of " Disturbance of the Public Peace :"
|
|
|
|
SECTION. Any person or persons who shall wilfully
|
|
|
|
hinder or obstruct the free passage of persons pass-
|

ing by or along any public street or highway, in any

city or town of this State, or who shall wilfully dis-
|
passage.

turb any neighborhood in such city or town by loud

and unseemly noises, or shall profanely curse and

swear, or use obscene language upon or near to any

such street or highway, within the hearing of per-
|
|

sons passing by or along such highway, shall upon

conviction thereof be sentenced to a fine of not less

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
