scribed by such act of assembly or ordinance, and to


the costs of his prosecution, and in default of pay-


ment thereof he shall be committed to jail until

ment for the violation of any ordinance of any in-


corporated city or town of this State may conclude


"against the form of the ordinance in such case


made and provided, and against the peace, govern-


ment and dignity of the State."

SEC. 2. And le it enacted, That this act shall take


effect from and after the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 212,


AN ACT to amend the act of eighteen hundred and


sixty, chapter nineteen, entitled "An act to incor-


porate the Egenton' Asylum of Baltimore."


SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assem-


bly of Maryland, That the third section of the act
of eighteen hundred and sixty, chapter nineteen, in-


corporating the Egenton Asylum of Baltimore, is


hereby amended so as to read as follows : That the

members of the said First Presbyterian Church, and


the pastor, for the time being, of said church, shall be,
