cise the elective franchise, shall likewise be en-

of Caroline county.


SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the passage of


this act shall, in no way affect, impair, alter or

of the peace thereof, in which any persons re-


siding within the limits of the territory transfer-


red by this act are in any mariner concerned, or


any executions in the hands of any sheriff or con-

tamentary issued by the Orphans' Court of Dor-


chester county, but the same shall go on to com-


pletion precisely as if this act had not been passed;


nor shall the lien of any judgment upon any of


the land hereby transferred to Caroline county, or


of any mortgage upon real or personal property


therein, said liens being of record in the office of


the clerk of the Circuit Court for Dorchester county,
be altered or divested by the passage of this act.


SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That in consideration


of the transfer of valuable taxable property from
