from thence parallel with Calvert street northwest-


erly to the Kent County Railroad depot grounds ;


thence by and with said depot grounds, and at right


angle to Calvert street, southwesterly seventeen


perches to Calvert street, thence in the same line


sixty six feet across Calvert street, thence in the same


line sixteen perches to High street, thence in the


same line ninety feet across High street, thence in


the same direction at right angle to High street


eighteen perches to Cannon street, thence fifty-two


feet across Cannon street, thence southwesterly at


right angle to Cannon street fourteen perches, eight


feet and three inches, thence at right angle south-


easterly and parallel with Cannon street in a straight


line until it reaches the southwest boundary of lot


number ninety-nine on the plat of Chestertown, at a


point fourteen perches, eight feet and three inches


southwest from Cannon street, and about six perches


southeast from Kent street, so as to include all the


ground within the bounds and lines as extended,


and the Commissioners of Chestertown are also au-


thorized to take such necessary action for opening


and extending the streets of said town, and dividing


and numbering the newly added grounds into lots


and opening cross streets, as they deem proper.


SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
