CHAPTER 146.

AN ACT to define the limits and describe the boun-
|
|
|
|
daries of Dames' Quarter District, number two,
|
|
|
|
in Somerset county, and annex a portion thereof
|
|
|
|
to Princess Anne District, number one, in said
|
|
|
|
county.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
|
|
|
bly of Maryland, That the boundaries of Dames'
|
Boundaries
|
|
|
Quarter District, number two, Somerset county,
shall be as follows : Commencing for the same at
|
of Dames'
Quarter Dis-
trict.

|
a point on Monie Bay, known as Dames' Quarter
|
|
|
|
Creek, and running thence in a southerly direction
|
|
|
|
across the marsh, said marsh being the division be-
|
|
|
|
tween Dames' Quarter and Pigeon House, to Man-
|
|
|
|
okin River, thence by and with the channel of said
|
|
|
|
Manokin River to the mouth of Goose Creek, thence
|
|
|
|
to the mouth of a ditch near the head of said creek,
|
|
|
|
thence by and with said ditch to the county road,
|
|
|
|
near the residence of Thomas Heath, thence by the
|
|
|
|
county road leading from Princess Anne, westward
|
|
|
|
to John B. Wallers' store, thence northward, by the
|
|
|
|
county road leading to Waterloo Bridge, to William
|
|
|
|
H. Price's and Little Monie Creek, then'ce north-
|
|
|
|
westwardly by and with the channel of Little Monie
|
|
|
|
Creek to Monie Bay, to the beginning. That por-

nexed.

|
not included in the district as above constituted, is
|
|
|
|
hereby annexed to Princess Anne District, number
|
|
|
|
one, and the inhabitants thereof are entitled to all
|
|
|
