	CHAPTER 140.
	AN ACT to authorize the State Comptroller to issue
	his warrant on the Treasurer for the payment of
	one thousand dollars to A. Leo Knott, late State's
	Attorney for Baltimore city, for professional ser-	.
	vices rendered by him to the State, in the suit of
	the State of Maryland vs. The Mayor and City
	Council of Baltimore, for the recovery of unex-
	pended bounty money, the said warrant to be pay-
	able out of excess of fees returned by said A. Leo
	Knott, late State's Attorney for Baltimore, to the
	Treasurer of the State.
	SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
	bly of Maryland, That the State Comptroller be	Comptroller

	and the proofs on which it is based, having been pre-
	sented to the Comptroller and reported upon by him.
