CHAPTER 139.


AN ACT to repeal chapter four hundred and twenty-


five of the acts of the General Assembly of Mary-


land, passed at January session, eighteen hundred


and seventy-four, entitled " An act to add certain


sub-sections to article nineteen of the Code of


Public Local Laws, entitled ' Somerset county,' un-


der sub-title ' License,' " and to repeal section one


hundred and thirty-eight of said article, entitled


"Somerset county," under sub-title " Retailers," so


far only as said chapter four hundred and twenty-


five refers to Brinkley's district, number three;


Lawson's district, number eight, and Crisfield dis-


trict, number seven, therein mentioned; and re-


enact the following in lieu thereof, to refer only to


said last mentioned districts.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-


bly of Maryland, That chapter four hundred and


twenty-five, of the acts of the General Assembly of


Maryland, passed January session, eighteen hundred
and seventy-four, entitled "An act to add certain sub-

Local Laws, entitled ' Somerset county,' under sub-
