	ges to any husband, wife, parent, employer or other
	person injured by reason of any person being intox-
	icated by liquor sold by said vendor, said damages
	to be ascertained by a justice of the peace for said
	county, when the sum claimed does not exceed one
	hundred dollars, if more than one hundred dollars,
	then, in the same manner as debts for like amounts
	are now recovered by law.
	SUB-SECTION V. Nothing in this act shall be con-
	strued to authorize any sale or barter, or giving
	away of any spirituous or fermented liquor or lager	How con-
	beer on the Sabbath day, commonly called Sunday,	strued
	or on the day of any election held in said county
	under the constitution and laws of this State or of
	the United States.
	SUB-SECTION W. In any criminal prosecution
	under this act, it shall only be necessary to state that
