CHAPTER 137.
|

|
|
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact section one, chap-
|
|
|
|
ter sixty-three, of the acts passed at the January
|
|
|
|
session, eighteen hundred and sixty-five, entitled
|
|
|
|
"A supplement to an act entitled 'An act to incor-
|
|
|
|
porate the Baltimore, Catonsville and Ellicotts
|
|
|
|
Mills Passenger Railway Company,' " passed at the
|
|
|
|
January session, eighteen hundred and sixty, chap-
|
|
|
|
ter thirty-four.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
|
|
|
bly of Maryland, That section one of chapter sixty-
|
|
|
|
three, passed at the January session of eighteen
|
|
|
|
hundred and sixty-five, entitled "A supplement to
|
|
|
Repealed and
|
an act entitled 'An act to incorporate the Baltimore,
|
|
|
re-enacted
|
Catonsville and Ellicotts Mills Passenger Railway
|
|
|
|
Company,'" passed at January session, eighteen
hundred and sixty, chapter thirty-four, be and the
|
|
|
|
same is hereby repealed and re enacted so as to read
|
|
|
|
as follows:
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
|
|
|
bly of Maryland, That the Baltimore, Catonsville
|
|
|
|
and Ellicotts Mills Passenger Railway Company
|
|
|
|
may and shall be authorized to change its rates of
|
|
|

fare; provided that the charges between its depot in
the city of Baltimore and the village of Catonsville
|
|
|
|
shall not exceed for each and every passenger the
|
|
|
|
sum of twenty cents ; and that between its depot in
|
|
|
|
the city of Baltimore and its depot at the termina-
|
|
|
|
tion of its road, shall not exceed for each and every
|
|
|
|
passenger the sum of thirty-five cents.
|
|
|
Effective.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
|
|
|
|
effect from the date of its passage.
|
|
|
|
