CHAPTER 98.


AN ACT to repeal section twenty-one of article


seven of the Code of Public Local Laws, en-


titled "Carroll county," sub-title "Justices of the


Peace and Constables," and also to repeal the


same as amended by the act passed January ses-


sion, eighteen hundred and seventy-two, chapter


one hundred and eighty-one; and, as further amen-


ded by the act passed January session, eighteen


hundred and seventy-four, chapter one hundred


and eight; and, as further amended by the act


passed January session, eighteen hundred and

seventy-eight, chapter one hundred and ninety-


one, and to enact the following section twenty-


one, in lieu of said section twenty-one of article


seven of the Code of Public Local Laws, and the


various acts above named, as amendatory thereof.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-


bly of Maryland, That section twenty-one of article


seven of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled


"Carroll county," sub-title "Justices of the Peace


and Constables," and the act entitled an act to re-


peal section twenty-one of article seven of the Code


of Public Local Laws, entitled " Carroll county," sub-


title " Justices of the Peace and Constables," and to


re-enact the same with amendments, passed at Janu-


ary session, eighteen hundred and seventy-two, chap-
ter one hundred and eighty-one, also the act entitled

Repealed,
amended and
re-enacted.

"An act to repeal chapter one hundred and eighty-


one of the acts of eighteen hundred and seventy-


two, entitled an act to repeal section twenty-one of


article seven of the Code of Public Local Laws, en-


titled "Carroll county," sub-title "Justices of the
