SUB-SECTION 1. All such legal voters as pay a
|
|
|
|
corporation tax to the authorities of the town, hav-

ing resided therein twelve months previous to any

election, shall, on the first Monday in June next and

every two years thereafter on the same day, elect three
|
|
|

commissioners for Rockville, to serve for two years
|

from the date of their elections, and until their suc-
|
|
|
|
cessors are elected and qualified; the commissioners
|
|
|
|
must be substantial citizens, residents in said corpo-
|
|
|
|
rate limits, and must have resided therein for at least
|
|
|
|
four years next preceding their election, and con-
|
|
|
|
tinue to do so during their continuance in office;
|
|
|
|
they shall receive no pay for their services, except
|
|
|
|
the president, who shall receive the fees hereinafter
|
|
|
|
allowed.

|
SUB- SECTION 2. The judges of election shall give

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
