chapter one hundred and eighty-one of the acts


of eighteen hundred and seventy-two, entitled an


act to repeal section twenty-one of article seven of


the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Carroll


county," sub-title " Justices of the Peace and


Constables," and to re-enact the same with


amendments, passed at the January sesbion, eighteen


hundred and seventy-eight, chapter one hundred


and ninety-one, be and the same are hereby re-


pealed, and said section twenty-one of article seven


of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Carroll


county," sub-title "Justices of the Peace and Con-


stables," be and the same is hereby amended and re-


enacted so as to read as follows :


SECTION 21. There shall be the following number


of Justices of the Peace and Constables for Carroll


county; for election district number one, four Jus-


tices of the Peace and two Constables; for election


district number two, three Justices of the Peace


and two Constables; for election district number


three, three Justices of the Peace and two Consta-


bles; for election district number four, four Justices

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That any act or acts

in conflict with the provisions of this act be and
the same are hereby repealed.

Effective.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take


effect from the date of its passage.
