CHAPTER 94.


AN ACT to repeal section four of chapter two hun-


dred and thirty-seven of the acts of eighteen hun-


dred and seventy-six, entitled "An act to authorize


the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to issue


city stock for the purpose of redeeming the five mil-


lion loan, known as ' Baltimore Water Stock,' re-


deemable at pleasure on and after the first day of


May, eighteen hundred and seventy-five, and to


provide for the payment of all taxes, State, fed-


eral or otherwise, to which said stock, or the in-


terest thereon, may be liable, and to reduce the


rate of interest on the indebtedness of the said


city," and to re-enact the same with amendments.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-


bly of Maryland, That section four of chapter two


hunded and thirty-seven of the acts of eighteen


hundred and seventy-six, entitled " An act to au-
