CHAPTER 92.


AN ACT entitled a supplement to the act entitled


"An act to incorporate the Presbyterian Church


of the city of Baltimore," passed at November


session, seventeen hundred and ninety-seven, chap-


ter fifty-eight, and authorizing said corporation to


hold and acquire property to the value of four


hundred thousand dollars.


WHEREAS, by the act to which this is a supple-


ment, the body politic thereby created was empow-


ered to acquire and hold property not exceeding in


value the sum of six thousand dollars, which limit

was extended to twenty-five thousand dollars by the


act of eighteen hundred and fifty-six, chapter three


hundred and thirty-one, and was still further extend-


ed to one hundred and fifty thousand dollars by the


act of eighteen hundred and sixty-four, chapter two


hundred and twenty-five;

AND WHEREAS a still further extension of said


limit has become necessary.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-


bly of Maryland, That the said corporation may

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
