CHAPTER 84.

AN ACT to compensate George Y. Maynadier and

William Young for legal services rendered the

State.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

bly of Maryland, That the Comptroller of the

Young, of the sum of three hundred dollars, for com-

pensation for services rendered in the trial of the

mandamus case of Louis Cahen versus A. Lingan

Jarrett, Clerk of the Circuit Court for Harford

county, in the Circuit Court for Harford county and

in the Court of Appeals, which said sum of three

hundred dollars is hereby appropriated for that

purpose.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 85.

AN ACT to pay Thomas K. Whelton, of Somerset

county, for services rendered by him as justice of

the peace and witness to the Commissioners of

the State of Maryland, appointed by said State,

to adjust the boundary line between the States of

Virginia and Maryland.
