1888, ch. 302.

93. The assessors appointed shall be empowered to administer
oath to property holders, both real and personal, in the said cor-
poration, whilst in discharge of their duty.

94. The mayor and common council shall assess any and all
property, from time to time, which may arise in the said corpo-
ration after the said assessment has been made by said appointed
assessors, which taxes shall be used for the same purpose as those

obtained from the regular assessment.

MOUNT AIRY.

P. L. L., (1860,) art. 7, sec. 35.

95. No person shall sell or dispose of any distilled, fermented
or intoxicating liquors in the village of Mount Airy, in Carroll
county, or within half a mile of said village; and any person so
offending shall, for the first offence, forfeit the sum of fifty dol-
lars, and for each subsequent offence, the sum of one hundred
dollars, and be imprisoned not exceeding thirty days.

96. The fines imposed by the preceding section may be recov-
ered before a justice of the peace of the county where the offence
was committed; one-third to the informer and the residue to the
school commissioners of Carroll county, for the use of the
public schools.

NEW WINDSOR.

97. The citizens of the town of New Windsor, in. Carroll
county, are a body corporate by the name of " The Burgees and
Commissioners of New Windsor," and by that name may sue and
be sued, and may have and use a common seal.

98. The limits of said town shall include all the property for
