72. It shall be unlawful for any person to shoot a gun, guns,
or other firearms, from and off Eastern-avenue bridge, crossing
Back river, in Baltimore county.

73. Upon information given upon oath or affirmation to any
justice of the peace of said county, or to the circuit court for said
county, of any violation of the preceding section, said justice of
the peace or said circuit court shall issue a warrant for the arrest
of the offender, and for the seizure of the gun or other fire-
arms in the possession of such offender, to be directed to the sher-
iff, or to any constable of Baltimore county, or other officer
authorized to make arrests, or to any citizen of said county; and
it shall be the duty of any sheriff, constable or other officer au-
thorized to make arrests, or of any citizen, upon the receipt
of said warrant, to arrest any person violating the preceding
section, and to seize any gun or other firearms used in vio-
lation of said section, and to bring such offender before a justice
of the peace of said county, or before the circuit court for said
county, and upon conviction the said offender shall be held guilty
of a misdemeanor, and be punished by a fine of not less than twen-
ty-five dollars nor more than fifty dollars, or by imprisonment in
the jail of said county for not less than twenty days nor more than
forty days, one-half of all such fines to be paid to the informer and
the other half to be paid for the use of the public schools of said
county; and the said offender shall forfeit the gun or other fire-
arms seized as aforesaid, and the same shall be sold and the pro-
ceeds of such sale shall be paid for the use of the schools of said
county; and in case any such offender shall fail to pay the fine
that may be imposed on him for violating said section, he shall be
confined in the jail of Baltimore county for a period not less than
twenty days nor more than forty days, or until such fine be paid.

74. Any person who may feel aggrieved by any judgment ren-
dered by a justice of the peace, under the two preceding sections,
shall have the right to appeal to the circuit court for the county,
upon the conditions, and subject to all the regulations now pro-
