116. It shall not be lawful for any persons, not actual resi-
dents of St. Mary's, Prince George's, Charles, Anne Arundel,
and Calvert counties, to shoot or trap upon the waters of the
Patuxent river, its tributaries, or the marshes bordering upon the
same, any goose, duck, snipe, ortolan or other wild fowl.

117. Any person who may be found violating the provisions
of the preceding section, shall, upon conviction thereof before a
justice of the peace of the county wherein the offence was com-
mitted, be fined not less than ten dollars nor more than fifty dol-
lars, for the first offence, and not less than twenty-five dollars nor
more than one hundred dollars for each and any subsequent
offence; and the boat, gun, ammunition, and all other property
found in the possession or use of such person at the time of the
arrest, shall be held until such fine is paid, one-half of said fine
to go to the informer, and the other half to the school fund of the
county in which the offence shall be committed.

118. It shall be lawful for any bona fide citizen of St. Mary's
and Charles counties, to shoot at, or shoot any water-fowl from
any vessel, boat, float, canoe, or any craft of any kind whatever,
in the waters of the Wicomico and its tributaries in St. Mary's
and Charles counties.
