170 ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY. [ART. 2.

256. If any person shall violate any of the provisions of the
preceding section, he shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor,
and upon conviction thereof before any justice of the peace in
Anne Arundel county, shall be fined a sum not less than five nor
more than twenty dollars for each offence, with the costs of prose-
cution for the same; provided, that an additional fine of five dol-
lars shall be imposed upon the owner of any blind who shall
establish the same at a point nearer than three hundred yards,
from a blind already established and licensed, for each week said
blind shall remain after due notice has been given to remove the
same by the owner of the blind first established and licensed.

257. If any person shall trespass upon any blind established
and licensed, by shooting at wild fowl from the same without the
consent of the owner of said blind, he shall be guilty of
a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof before any justice of
the peace for Anne Arundel county, shall pay a fine of not less
than ten nor more than twenty dollars, with the costs of prosecu-
tion, and stand committed to the county jail until said fine and
costs are paid.

258. One-half of all fines so imposed and collected shall be
paid to the informer, and the other half, together with the money
arising from licenses, shall be paid to the school commissioners of
said county for the benefit of the public schools thereof.

259. All such licenses shall begin on the first day of May, in
each and every year, and continue only for one year from the
date thereof, and no person shall be allowed to license more than
one blind in any season; and if more than one license be so ob-
tained by any person, the same shall be revoked by said clerk, but
the money paid therefor shall not be recovered, but shall be
disposed of the same as if the license was legally obtained.
