perches to the end of the northern boundary line of the farm of
the late John Loats, deceased; then with said line south eighty-
nine degrees, west eighty-five and seventy-six one-hundredths
perches to the east side of South Market street, and with the east
side thereof, south six degrees, west forty and two-tenths perches
to a point east of the southeast corner of Mount Olivet cemetery;
then south eighty-one and one-half degrees, west twenty and six
one-hundredths perches, ending on said cemetery; then parallel
with the west side of South Market street, north ten degrees, east
thirty-nine sixty-eight one-hundredths perches to a stake now
planted; then north sixty-one and one-quarter degrees, west
eighteen and four-tenths perches to the eastern margin of Lynch
and Orendorff's addition to Frederick; then with the east margin
thereof, south forty-four degrees, west fourteen perches, south
thirty-four and one-half degrees, west twenty and seventy-two
one-hundredths perches to the southeast corner of said addition
to Frederick; then north sixty-one and one-quarter degrees, west
one hundred and thirty-two and two-tenths perches to the west
margin of said Lynch and Orendorffs addition to Frederick; then
with the west margin thereof, north twenty-seven and one-half
degrees, east thirty-four and two-tenths perches; then north
seventy-five and three-fourths degrees, west twenty-seven and
one-tenth perches to the east side of the Jefferson turnpike road;
then north thirty-nine degrees, west eighty-four perches to the
middle of the east end of Hezekiah Young's storehouse standing
on the south side of the Frederick and Hagerstown turnpike
road; then north seventy-two and three-fourths degrees, east two
hundred and seven perches to the southwest corner of the
German Reformed graveyard; then parallel with the west side of
Bentz street, north twenty-one and one-quarter degrees, east two
hundred and two twenty-eight-one-hundredths perches; and
thence south eighty-one and one-fourth degrees, east fifty-nine
and twenty-eight one-hundredths perches, to the first-mentioned
place of beginning. And the said mayor and aldermen shall have
full power and authority to assess, levy and collect within said
limits, any and all taxes whatsoever which they were authorized
to assess, levy and collect, within the taxable limits as hereto-
fore existing.
