186. Any person who may violate any of the provisions of
section 185 shall, upon conviction thereof before any justice of
the peace of said county, be fined for each and every offence the
sum of fifty dollars and costs of prosecution, and be committed
to the county jail until said costs and fines are paid; and of all
said fines one-half shall go to the informer and the other half be
paid to the county commissioners for the betterment of public
roads in said county.

187. The defendant shall have the right to appeal to the cir-
cuit court from the decision of the justice of the peace; pro-
vided, that unless he shall give good and sufficient bond, with
security, for his appearance at the next term of said court, and
to pay all fines and costs that may be imposed upon him, he
shall stand committed to the county jail until said fines and costs
are paid, or until the said circuit court, upon appeal, shall re-
verse the judgment of the said justice of the peace.

188. No person shall trap, shoot, or in any manner catch, kill
or wound any muskrats, otter or mink, in Dorchester county,
between the first day of April and the fifteenth day of December,
in each and every year.

189. Any person violating the preceding section shall be
guilty of a misdemeanor, and on conviction thereof in the circuit
court for said county shall be fined not less than twenty dollars,
nor more than thirty dollars, or be imprisoned in the county jail
not exceeding six months, or until the payment of said fines and
costs, one-half of said fine to be paid to the county commissioners
for the use of the public schools of the county, and the other half
to the informer.

190. Any person found trespassing upon the lands or marshes
of another in said county with the intention of catching, trapping
