proceeds of said fine and forfeited property, after paying officers'
fees, shall be paid to the clerk of the circuit court of the county
where the case shall be tried, for the use of the State.

183. Upon information made by any person to any justice of
the peace of either Dorchester or Wicomico county, the said justice
shall issue his warrant to some constable or sheriff for the arrest
of any person violating the preceding section, and have the said
person brought before him for trial.

184. Any party against whom any justice of the peace of either
of said counties may render a judgment under section 182 may,
at any time within ten days from the rendition of such judgment,
appeal therefrom to the circuit court; but no execution or sale
shall be stayed unless the party appealing shall give bond with
approved security, to the State of Maryland, in double the value
ef the property condemned or of the fine imposed, the sureties
to be residents of the State, worth double the amount of the
property condemned, with condition to prosecute such appeal
with effect, and to pay the value of the property condemned and
fine imposed, and all costs attending such proceedings, in case
such judgment shall be affirmed; and in all cases of appeal either
party shall be entitled to trial by jury.

185. It shall be unlawful for any person to use patent-twine
weirs, or other twine weirs, pound-nets, or with hauling-seines of
greater length than three hundred and fifty feet, for the taking or
catching of fish in the following waters of Dorchester county:
Fishing bay, Honga river, Blackwater river and its tributaries,
Little Choptank river and its tributaries, (provided that the pro-
visions of this sub-title of this article shall not apply to that
portion of the Little Choptank river known as Oyster creek or
bay), or to fasten or stick stakes in that part of Blackwater river
lying between a line drawn from Grog point to the opposite side
of the river, and a line drawn from Berges' ditch to the opposite
side of the river, except in the bends of said river where stake-
weirs now exist.
